Random thoughts that I have.
1. I just got a 68 on my American Heritage Final. I suck at life.
2. What if I don’t get into the business program at BYU? Then what will I do? Something other than business? No. Switch schools? I don’t want to…

8. I wonder how I’m gonna do on my Stats Final tomorrow. And the other 3 finals I have left…
9. Probably continue the trend, and bomb them.
10. Brielle is a cute name. I wanna name my daughter that.
11. I also want to name my daugther Leah Nichole Duford.
12. I want to meet my future wife. Maybe I have already? HAHAHAHA! Too easy. I wish.
13. I wanna see John Mayer live again. Greatest 2 hours and 30 minutes of my life.
14. I wonder how much I’m going to hate myself tomorrow morning for staying up this late and wasting my time writing this stupid blog post that approximately 5 people will read.
15. I miss Kyle, Tom, and Brennan. Like no other.
16. I miss Bobby, too. But I talk to him everyday.
17. I miss a few others. Maybe you’re one of them!
18. Let’s be honest though, you’re probably not.

29. My next semester at BYU: Fall 2014. Whoa.
30. I trust the Lakers management. History has shown us that they are as legit as management can get.
31. I need to pack my room… crap.
32. Seriously, why is she so cute? Just do me a favor and stop being so effing adorable.
33. I wonder if me and my future wife are gonna look back at ourselves when we were this age and wonder why we were so stupid.
34. Actually, I know that I’m going to do that.
35. I’m hungry.
36. In N Out is still open… maybe I can make it…
37. Bad idea Kenny, don’t do it.
38. I should go to bed.
In conclusion:
If you honestly read that, thank you. It means that the time I spent writing this wasn’t a total waste. It was still a waste, just not a total one. I live to entertain people. Too bad I suck at it. Goodbye, Tumblr.
p.s. goodbye utah, hello kingman. fridayyyyyy

My Vacation Part 3: My Grad Party and Coming Home
Yeah, this is a few days overdue. I got lazy!
So Sunday morning, Kyle, Kay, and I drove home (Tom drove home with Alisha). The drive suuucked, because freaking Kyle and Kay slept the whole time.
It was nice finally getting home to relax though. I got a nice surprise too!!! My sister and her family came for my graduation party. I had no idea they were even coming. I was STOKED.
I unpacked and everything, then took a shower to get ready to go to Tom’s grad party. I took Matthew (my 3 and a half year old nephew) with me!! It was so much fun, he is at the age where he can talk to everyone now, so I think he had fun. He loved throwing Tom’s dog, Jack, his toy.

That’s Tom, Matthew, and I at the party.
After the party, we came back home so I could get ready for my party, which my sister was hard at work on!
The party was so much fun, I’m glad I was able to get pics with Chris and Nichole, they weren’t able to make it for my graduation. It was cool seeing everyone too! Plus I got like 125 bucks, combined with the rest of the graduation money, not bad at all hahaha.
Here’s some pics from it!

Yeah, my sister went all out! She’s awesome.

Me and my nephew Aaron! He’s walking now. Him and Matthew are probably the cutest kids ever.

Me and my parents!

Me and my grandma Sally! She is awesome, best Grandma ever.

Me sister Nichole and her husband, Chris. He’s gonna be a dentist.

My brother Mike and his wife Amber. She’s pregnant!!! I’m so excited for them and to be an uncle again :)
Overall, it was a really good day. I’m so glad my sister came down and surprised me! She worked so hard on it and I’m glad she’s my sister :)
I was planning on leaving at about 10 am the next morning, it’s an eight hour drive and by myself I knew it would suck. That didn’t workout, I left at about 2:00 hahaha. I had a “sleepover” with Matthew so I slept in his room, I didn’t wake up until 9:30 though. Then I just decided to wait around and play with the kids a little more, plus my sister gave me a haircut, which I needed. It was sad saying bye after such a freakin AWESOME week, but I’ll be back in a couple weeks!
This is totally supposed to be part 3 of my vacation blog, but right now all I have for you is two words: Penelope Cruz.
Have you seen pirates yet? I recommend it!!!
My Vacation Part 2: CALIFORNIA!/One of The Most Epic Weekends of My Life
So Thursday morning, Kyle, Tom, Kay, and I all met at Kyle’s to head up to California for the weekend :)
Unfortunately, I have no pictures. They are all on Alisha’s (Tom’s girl) and Tiff’s camera. So when they upload them, I’m totally stealing them and posting them on here.
Anyways… so the drive up was pretty fun. I drove to Lenwood, Tommy got shotgun, while Kyle and Kay (the best couple that never dated, according to our senior yearbook hahahahahahahaha) sat in the back. It was pretty quick, they only slept for about fifteen minutes so we talked pretty much the whole time. Once we hit Lenwood, Kyle, Kay, and I had to get Tommy’s.

This place is cemented in the Duford family history. Legend has it that when my Mom was pregnant, she had a Tommy’s fit and made my Dad drive (2+ hours) to go get her a Tommy’s burger. I doubt this is true, but if it is, it wouldn’t surprise me. The place is amazing!
Tom went to Chipotle. Can’t blame him, that place is amazing too haha.
Tom drove the rest of the way (about 2 hours), because I wanted to look at everything. I love California. The green, the hills, the places, there’s just so much stuff to see. And I love all of it, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it as much if I was driving (road rage might have killed the Cali buzz). Anyways, we dropped our stuff off in Whitter, where Kyle, Kay, and I stayed (it was Kay’s aunt’s house). She was such a nice lady, she made us food, and left about 15 notes explaining everything haha. It was such a nice house too! In the middle of a perfect neighborhood, had a pool in the backyard, and right on a country club. I definitely wanna live in a place as nice as that (hopefully nicer) when I am older. After we left, we headed to Century City because Tom needed to shop for some clothes. None of us had ever been there, and it was a ridiculously nice mall with mostly designer stores. So Tom didn’t buy anything, but I definitely got some Pinkberry :)
For those of you that haven’t experience the joy that is Pinkberry frozen yogurt, please do it. It’s the best frozen yogurt out there, seriously. Pure joy in yogurt form.
We saw about three Maseratis, two Lambos, and a Ferrari while we were in the Century City area… just sayin. Anyways… after that we drove to Santa Monica (one of my favorite places in the world!), and stopped at Alisha’s apartment, where Tommy boy was stayin. We chilled there for a bit, then headed out for dinner on 4th street.
Benihana. That’s all I should have to say. If you have ever been there, you know what I am talking about. It may be a tad overpriced, but this place is just incredible. The food is perfect, and the chefs really do entertain you as they cook it. My food was about $50 dollars, but I got the most expensive thing on the menu plus a specialty drink… it was worth every penny. I am DYING to go back there again this summer.
After dinner, we headed back to Alisha’s, where Tiff met us. We all chilled there for a while, then set out to the Promenade looking for a good time. We definitely found it hahahaha. We walked down the Promenade, down to the beach, along the pier, we went everywhere haha. I could write about all the crazy stuff that went down that night, but let’s just say it was one of the best nights of my life. For real hahahahaha. I plan on doing it many more times this summer.
Side note: Kyle and I raved to “Odysee” on the drive home. This is a common occurrence whenever this song comes on, but this one was special.
The next morning, we woke up at about 10 and then headed down to Santa Monica (Alisha’s apartment). We chilled there, then walked down the promenade to find a place to eat some lunch! We decided to eat at this NY Pizza joint.

It was soooo good. Great pizza. Afterwards we walked around the promenade looking at everything, sat down for a bit, then walked back. I love the crazy street performers there, they are so talented and crazy!!! Walking down the promenade and seeing all the performers is definitely an experience everyone should go through. Oh yeah, Kyle and I got Pinkberry too :)
We went back to Alisha’s, napped for a bit, then left to go get some dinner. We decided on Buca Di Beppo. Kyle and I dropped Tom and Kay off to get a seat, so we could park. Twenty minutes later, we found a spot two blocks away. Parking in Santa Monica is a freaking battle. It’s HORRIBLE if you are by yourself, but it was pretty funny and entertaining with Kyle hahaha. Dinner was great, afterwards we headed back to Alisha’s to get ready for GLEE LIVE AT THE STAPLES CENTER!!!! :D
Tiff met us there. By the way, I love Tiff, she is so awesome hahahaha. Tom drove, and dropped Alisha, Kay, and myself off in front of the STAPLES Center, while him, Kyle, and Tiff had some crazy adventures in Hollywood… hahahaha. They snuck into the wax museum and took some of the funniest pictures I’ve ever seen!!! I wish I could upload them on here hahaha.
Anyways, Glee live was AWESOME! At first, our seats sucked. There was safety glass (we were on the 3rd floor balcony, wayyyyy up there) blocking my view of the stage, so I stood up once it started. This dude behind me told me to sit down, and I told him no. I didn’t pay a hundred bucks to not be able to see! If I was anywhere else besides the seat next to me (Kay), I would have been able to see. So we argued for a bit, then he called the usher over. I told her I wanted new seats, so she went and got her supervisor. We talked, and he found us some new seats. They were sooooo much better!!!!! Complaining really does get you places, I don’t do it very often, but I was soo glad I did. The show was incredible. They are all soooo talented it’s ridiculous (side note: i have said soooooo way too much in this paragraph). And I got to see Lea Michele in person. I almost fainted….

I don’t have pics, but Alisha does, so whenever she uploads them, I will.
After the show, Tom, Kyle, and Tiff picked us up, told us about the craaazzzyyyyy crap they did, and we drove back to Alisha’s, then just chilled until we were all about ready to pass out. Such a good night. I liked Friday night better, but this one was still epic. Seriously one of the best weekends of my life.
Stay tuned for part 3!!!!
My Vacation Part 1: Graduation!
Hello, everybody. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. Been too busy tweeting!
Anyways, last Tuesday I headed down to the SLC airport to head back to Kingman. The flight went well, it was actually the first time I’ve been on a flight with no trouble or delays. My Dad picked me up in Vegas (which still never gets old flying into, I love that airport and seeing the strip), and we drove back to kingman. After stopping at In N Out Burger of course.
Tuesday was pretty sweet. Hung out with Kyle, Saren, and Savannah for a bit, then Kyle and I headed over to Tom’s for our grad party with our elementary school teachers. It was so fun!!! I loved seeing those teachers again, its awesome how much they remembered about us. I miss those days. Here’s some pics:

That’s our 6th grade teacher, Mr Snyder, on the left. Mr. Taylor is between Tom and Kyle, he was our 5th grade teacher (my favorite). They were both so amazing, I would rant about how awesome they were, but I already did that a few blogs back.

We were called the Three Musketeers in elementary school. Still going strong after graduation :)
We took a lot more pictures, but they are all on our moms’ cameras haha.
It’s pretty depressing that we are all going our separate ways after this summer. My best friend Kyle is going to Daytona Beach to become a rocket scientist (yeah, he’s pretty smart), and Tom is going to Santa Monica (sooooo freaking jealous). I’ll be in Utah until December, then it’s mission time. I’m sure I’ll write a depressed/sad blog about this as the summer ends. Had to happen sometime right? :/
Anyways, the party was awesome. Such a good time! I was so glad Tom’s mom got it together for us. It really was amazing. Afterwards we went and played some 2 on 2 at the church. Then I came home and went straight to the tv to watch the season finale of Glee!!!!!! I absolutely loved it. I probably watched their performance about 10x. That kiss between Finn and Rachel gave me the chills…
The next morning, Kyle picked me up for Grad practice at 7:45…. so early. We met Tom and Keith at Safeway then headed over to the school. I was really, really dreading it, because I heard it was five hours long, and it was really hot outside (I’m too used to Utah!). But it turned out to be pretty fun. Everyone that I was cool with was just super stoked to graduate, so everyone was in a good mood and stuff. It was a good time.
After that, Tom and I went over to Kyle’s and played some CoD and pool. Owned ‘em both, in both. Then we all went home to nap and stuff before graduation.
We met up at Kyle’s, took some pics in our cap and gowns, then headed up to the school in Kyle’s Bronco. Graduation was… incredible. I knew it would be cool, but I still wasn’t expecting it to be this awesome, seeing as how I’ve already been at BYU for a semester. But it was just an epic, epic night. I could go on for days talking about how perfect and cool it was, but I’ll just leave it at that. Such a good feeling, and the celebration afterwards was amazing. Here’s a few pics: (there are TONS, but I don’t want to overwhelm you, so here are my 4 favorites)

Me and Brennan! Friends since elementary school. He was never in my class, but was always with Kyle, Tom, and I. He’s going to the Marines! Hopefully he’ll end up in a place where I can visit.

That’s me and Tommy boy. Friends since kindergarten! He’s been my friend for the longest out of anyone. Future groomsman at my wedding. I’ll be visiting him in Santa Monica as much as freakin possible haha.

Me and my bestfriend Kyle. He will be the best man at my wedding, and I better be his haha. Gonna miss him. A lot. That’s an understatement too. Bromance! Looks like I’ll be flyin out to Florida a few times!

Of course, the family! Nichole and Chris couldn’t make it, but they DEFINITELY made up for it later :) (see part 3!) This picture makes me so happy. I love my family so much, and I’m so glad that we were able to get a picture together. They all supported me soooooo much, and still do.
There’s tons of other pics I got with my other good friends, but these ones mean the most.
After graduation, we all headed out to Kyle’s to get ready to party. It was such a good night. Tom, Kyle, Maddie (kyle’s girl), and I all drove in the same car (I was DD of course haha). It was a good night!!! We finally got home at 3 in the morning…
I might as well blog about the next day. I woke up at about 2:30, no lie. Then Tom called me and we went to see the Hangover Part 2 with his brother Pat and sister Erin. Funny would be an understatement, and I feel like it doesn’t do the movie justice. Go see the movie and you’ll know what I’m talking about hahahaha. Soooooo freakin hilarious!!

After that I just chilled with my family, waiting for the next day when we…..
read more in part 2, coming soon!
Euphoria. This makes me happy in every freaking way possible. One day
If this doesn’t make you smile, then something is severely wrong with you. Soooo adorable!
Just A Couple More Weeks…
Until I return to Kingman for my high school graduation. I know I’m in college, but I am really, really looking forward to graduation. It’s just an experience that I don’t wanna miss out on. Seeing all my old friends (for most people, for the last time) and all my old teachers and stuff will be so cool. May 25th, Wednesday night at Kingman High School.
On Tuesday night (the day I fly in), Tom’s mom is throwing Kyle, Tom, and I a little party. All of our old elementary school teachers are going to be there. Sounds lame, but it is going to be pretty freaking special. Each one of my teachers in elementary school has had a profound, lasting impact on my life. Manzanita Elementary School is not your usual school. There is a reason it is the only A+ school in Kingman.
The teachers I had there were absolutely incredible. I could write for days about each one I had. I swear that I learned more in elementary school than in junior high and high school combined. Our classes Stanford 9 (elementary school standard testing) test scores were in the 99th percentile (multiple times). That means that they were better than 99 percent of every other elementary school in America. Tom, Kyle, and I could have made the jump from 6th to 10th grade, no problem, without a doubt (academically, obviously not socially). I am REALLY excited to see those teachers again. Once I “make it” in life, I am giving them a huge amount of credit for it. I really can’t say enough about them.
But enough about graduation, I am soooooo freaking excited to go to California with my two best friends Kyle and Tom, and my good friend Kay. We are leaving Thursday night, and spending the night around Santa Monica.

That’s gonna be a late night. Tom’s staying with his girlfriend Alisha in Santa Monica, and Kyle, Kay, and I are staying somewhere on the outskirts of L.A at Kay’s aunt’s house. On Friday, we are going to DISNEYLAND!!!

I could make about a million blogs for my love for this place. I am sooooo happy every second I am here. Happiest place on Earth for sure. A lotta people get after Disneyland for making things so outrageously priced and stuff, but I don’t care. I’m in love with it. There’s not many things that are better than waking up early, taking the tram to the main gate, then walking through onto Main Street and smelling all the bakeries and chocolate places. So amazing.
So we’ll spend most of the day there on Friday, then Saturday is our day to chill :) We’ll definitely coast down the PCH for a bit, go to the beach (most likely Malibu), and then who knows.

That’s Malibu right there. Someday I’ll live somewhere like this. I am sooooo freaking happy we get to chill on the beach. There’s something about it for me. It just feels like it’s where I belong every single time I go there.
Saturday night, Alisha, Kay, and I are going to see Glee! Live in Concert at the Staples Center in L.A :)

Tom and Kyle are just gonna chill while we go. That’s the whole reason for the trip, really. It’s gonna be a dream come true for me. I am going to be soooo excited. Glee is one of my favorite things in the world, and seeing them perform live will be soooo incredible. All of them are so ridiculously talented. It’s unreal. Especially Lea Michele, my future wife. I’m definitely proposing to her while I’m there. She will say yes, we will get married, and live happily ever after.

Lea Michele Duford <3
So yeah, that is why I am anxiously counting the days until May 24th, when I fly out to Vegas and come home. Not to mention that it is pretty much it’s mine, Kyle’s, and Tom’s “final run” kinda. It’s gonna be one of the best trips of my life.
My Return to the Blogging World
It’s been a long while. Not counting the warning blog (which karma got me back for, Lakers are down 3-0), I haven’t blogged in weeks!
So I’ve started the Spring semester here at BYU. It’s been pretty chill so far. I only have 4 classes: Book of Mormon, Dinosaurs, ISYS100, and ISYS101. Book of Mormon is easy, and Dinosaurs is pretty simple. It just sucks that it is a four-hour class on Wednesdays. ISYS 100 and 101 are pass/fail classes, and you would have to be really stupid to not pass the class. It’s just learning how to use Excel and PowerPoint.
Summer here in Provo has been pretty chill. It’s beautiful here. The weather is freakin AMAZING, it just sucks I don’t get out much, because I don’t really have anyone to go outside with haha. Me and my friend Connor were gonna be golfing non-stop, but some stuff happened with student loans and I basically have no money. So that kinda sucks, but oh well, that’s life. At least I can call myself a legit “poor college student” now hahaha.
My two roommates are moving out, which sucks. A lot. Austin is getting married pretty soon, so he isn’t around much anymore. Carson is already gone, he leaves for an internship with Dell in Texas next week. It sucks, cause they were basically my two best friends up here. Oh well, though. I’ll be aight.
My daily routine is pretty much just go to class (I only have one class from 12-12:50 on M/T/W/Th, and then two classes on M/W), then go play basketball at the RB. Not much else, really.
I started cleaning windows for this window cleaning service called Utah Premier Services, and it was really cool. Last Tuesday I cleaned ‘em at the Hampton Inn, and made $70. It wasn’t as easy as it sounds, because for every single room you have to drill out the window-safety guards, take out the screen, pull out half the window, clean that, then hang out the window and clean the outside. Then you have to put the window back in, then put the screen back in, and then finally drill the safety thing back in. It’s quite a process, but it’s definitely worth ten bucks an hour. I’ve only worked once, so I’m hoping I can get more hours. I really need the money.

Maybe I should start a fund. I could call it “Kenny’s College Welfare Fund.” It’s got a nice ring to it, eh?
So that pretty much updates you on my life in Provo. I’m moving back to Kingman on June 26th until the Fall semester starts. I need to find a place to live for Fall…
The Warning Blog
I AM SO EFFFFING SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE HEAT. I deal with this crap almost every single year. There’s always some team that gets hot (either in the regular season or the playoffs), and people won’t shut up about them. Yeah, the Heat are a great team. No duh, they have two of the best 4 players in the entire NBA on the same team. Of course they are gonna be legit. Even if they do beat Boston (which will impress me), they will not beat the Lakers.
P.S. if you don’t think the Lakers are going to make it out of the West, you’re probably not even smart enough to read this blog, so go away.
People never remember the defending champions for some reason. They seem to forget that they still have the best (at least tied for the best) player on the planet, and the best closer on the planet in Kobe Bryant. They have the best frontcourt in the entire NBA, and when it comes down to it, they are one of, if not THE best defensive team in the NBA as well. They have Phil Jackson, the greatest NBA coach ever, too.
The Heat will win many titles in the future, but not this year.
This is a warning. Once the Lakers 3peat, I will be the most obnoxious, in your face, ridiculous fan you’ve ever seen. You will hate me for a few weeks, because I will piss you off with my constant bragging. These past two years, I have been completely content with a few I told-you-so’s, and I’ve kept by bragging to a minimum after they have won the title. Not this year. I’m going all out. Just a warning, so you know to expect it ;)
So I was gonna post a blog about my trip home to Kingman, but I’m really lazy and it would take forever. It was a great trip, got to see my three best friends a lot and had a great time with my parents too. And that’s all I have to say about that.
Here’s John Mayer live at the Red Rocks. He is so incredible live it’s unreal. YouTube videos don’t do him half the justice he deserves. Go see him in concert, it will change your life.
